Firms Snub Emporia Life Phone UK Stores are refusing to carry the new Emporia Life Phone which is specifically aimed at the elderly The Head of Comm8 the uk distributor the Life Phone said that he hasn't been able to get any of the UK Networks to sign up. Charities have snubbed the mobile industry of ageism and of a patronising attitude. To date there have been no uk high street mobile phone retailer's prepared to stock the life phone  - Just Click on the BBC Logo
O2 have said that they already carry a phone aimed at the elderly market, namely the jet, and they have said that it is considerably cheaper, and that they see no need for an extra handset in this area.
